Auditor finds state needs to improve recycling efforts

The Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) recently released a report on recycling and waste management. The report finds that the state needs to focus more broadly on waste reduction, improve how it measures recycling rates, increase recycling by state agencies, give agencies more resources for developing markets for recycled products, and consider consumer incentives for recycling and waste reduction.
