: Amendment to HF3829: Require pollinator friendly restorations on public land (April 27, 2016)

Every year, thousands of acres of land are restored using Legacy Amendment funds. This amendment would ensure that these restored lands benefit pollinators by ensuring that agencies or organizations conducting the restorations only use pollinator friendly products.

How the Committee Voted

The Amendment is not adopted. Pollinator–lethal products are not prohibited from restoration projects.

H.F. 2611 : Require pollinator friendly restorations on public land (March 16, 2016)

House Committee: Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance

This amendment would protect pollinator habitat by requiring that lands acquired with Legacy Funds cannot be restored or treated using pollinator lethal products. The committee voted against this amendment.

A “No” vote means pollinator lethal products are not barred from use on Legacy lands.
